Laminated French Chef Knife

My newest and currently my favorite method of blade construction for a chef's knife, this full-sized French-pattern blade is perfect for sardines to sharks.  

The Laminated steel blade sports my most aggressive attempt at patterning of the core.  The forge texture remains at the spine while the blade bevels are ground very thin and hand-finished.

The bolster is black paper micarta, slotted to accept the hidden tang into the sculpted, spalted maple handle.  

Knife includes a leather blade sleeve.

Blade 9.75" long, 2.2" wide, 15.25 overall
