All that natural texture remains, laid against the hand-finished bevels. The mild steel guard is sculpted, and matte black finished. The beautiful English walnut handle is stabilized, museum fitted to the guard, and finished with several coats of a hand-rubbed oil finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe sheath is a brown\/black fade with a forged steel escutcheon on the face of the sheath.
