Blanc Santoku
$ 1,400.00
The Santoku (Japanese for three tasks) is so named for its capability to do the three main jobs of a chef’s knife: slice, dice, make a bowl of rice. Or something like that. Google it.
The blade is my Laminated steel, also made of three pieces (hey, look at that!). The outside is 410 stainless with a core of 80CRV2. Forge texture remains at the spine with the blade bevels satin finished.
The white G-10 frame handle has black G-10 liners for a total of three pieces (or somewhere close - you count them, I’m tired).
Knife comes with a leather blade sleeve.
