Forged from a single piece of 80CRV2 steel, this blade is very hard and thin with forge texture at the spine and satin finished bevels. Like most of my chef's knives, this blade has flat-ground bevels with slightly convex cutting edge.
The handle is polished desert ironwood secured with black composite pins. Handle is sculpted and faceted which is comfortable yet secure when wet.
