For every day there must come a night, and for every shiny, bright blade there should come its natural opposite. Hey, I'm just doing my part to keep the world in balance.
The blade is forged, woodgrain Damascus (80CRV2 and 15N20), ground very thin and deeply etched. The entire blade has been Parkerized, a black phosphate coating best knows as the metal finish of choice on so many WWII-era firearms. It's nearly black, non-reflective, and very durable.
The handle is black micarta, affixed with matching micarta pins.
The knife balances at the junction of the blade and handle. Covering the piece is a Dragonskin leather blade sleeve.
