Full-sized chef forged from 80CRV2, with a slightly upswept blade in a traditional Japanese K-tip profile. This blade has the heft appropriate for a primary knife in the kitchen, and the octagonal handle is best suited for medium to large hands.

The blade bevels are flat ground with a very slight convex to the cutting edge. The blade bevels are hand-finished with forge texture remaining above the bevels near the spine. 

The handle is Australian Ringed Gidgee which (as is often the case) is hard to fully appreciate in photos. Scales are attached with black composite pins, sculpted and faceted for a secure grip when wet.

Knife comes with a leather blade sleeve.
