Half-Light Bowie

This is another in a series of Half-Light fighters and bowies that feature monochromatic knives of only black and silver tones.  This meduim-sized bowie is forged from a mosaic Damascus made up of straight and twist pattern steel, re-oriented on the end grain, so to speak.  The blade was forged to shape and although it's very hard to photograph, there is a wonderful array of shimmer in the steel that shows each hammer blow.  

The guard is forged from mild steel and finished in flat black, set against a stainless spacer and stainless pins and a polished African Blackwood handle with a carved detail in the butt.

The sheath is Dragon Skin with a retaining strap and high-ride belt loop.

The blade is 9.25" with an overall of 14.5".
