Another strong homage to classic Japanese blade construction, this piece epitomizes elegance in simplicity.
The blade is 80CRV2, forged thin, ground thinner, and sharper than you probably need it to be. The hidden tang blade passes through an ivory micarta plug and into the toasted American curly maple handle - faceted and polished for ease of use when wet. (And I hardly need to say it, but the chatoyancy in the figure in the handle is stunning in person.)
Knife comes with a leather blade sleeve.
