This little piece is a first in using some traditional Japanese construction methods to create a classy, rustic, and very lightweight knife that you'll want to use daily.
The blade is 80CRV2, forged thin and ground to a very fine edge. Forge texture remains above a patina-treated hand finish.
The octagonal handle is Australian Ringed Gidgee, inset with ivory micarta at the tang insertion.
Knife comes with a leather blade sleeve.
