Frame Handle Camp
$ 1,900.00
Another variation of the frame handled knife, this time with a little twist. Often the goal is to cut apart and re-assemble the handle with little to no evidence of the process. In this case, I chose to highlight the frame handle by making the frame from water buffalo horn, while the outer scales are curly maple. The water buffalo frame is tapered to match the taper of the hidden tang.
The blade is forged from 80CRV2 with minimal grinding. The bevels are hand-rubbed with forge texture remaining over most of the surface.
The resulting knife is lighter overall with more forward weight than a typical full tang knife.
The sheath is a Dragonskin pouch model, with a “V” notch loop for right handed carry.
Blade length: 8.75” , Overall length: 14.4”
