As I write this winter is not quite here, but as they say it's coming. As the forest clears of leaves and the cold descends on our little place in the world there is more desire than any other time of the year to wander and work with a big knife.
Forged to shape from 80CRV2, this blade had just enough grinding to bring it to a sharp edge. Handle scales are curly maple, locally sourced and attached with African blackwood pins and lanyard tube.
Deep pouch sheath with Dragonskin pattern leather and "V" notch belt loop.
Blade: 10.5" long, 2.75" wide at the widest point, 16.5" overall.
