Tainted Camp Knife
Embracing the fact that carbon steel will stain with time and use, I've been playing with patina as a blade finish. This Camp knife has a blade shape that's a cross between the Musso Bowie and an old Green River Skinner. The blade is 80CRV2, forged to shape, yet fully finished and hand-sanded. The handle is stabilized spalted maple with hollow African Blackwood pins.
The deep pouch sheath is intended to mimic the patina on the blade.
