L.S. Integral Gent's Bowie
Gentleman's Bowie? Yeah, maybe. It's a medium size clip point integral...too large (for me) to call a hunter. But gentleman? Grizzly Adams with a tie maybe. Anyway, this piece is also forged from a large leaf spring, and finished in a black satin blue. (Interesting note: I threw some very heavy grit into my regular blasting media and the resulting finish has a little light play, almost faint stars in a black night.)
The handle is white oak from an American bourbon barrel - charred side out, attached with hand-peened copper pins, and finished with oil and wax.
The sheath is a deep pouch style made from distressed leather.
Blade is 6.5" long and 11.6" overall.
