Zebra Fighter

Zebra Fighter, as in a fighter that has a zebra pattern blade, not a knife for fighting zebras.  I just need to make that perfectly clear. 

The blade is 80CRV2 and 15N20 steels, in a mosaic (end grain) pattern.  Although it may look like a laminated or san-mai pattern with a core steel and a damascus sides, it's actually a mosiac pattern that creates that illusion.  

The sweeping Thorned guard is hand-rubbed stainless steel and the handle is a beautiful piece of Australian ringed gidgee (also with stripes...see the connection?).

The high ride sheath is right hand carry with a dissolving basketweave pattrn.
