Forged Camp Knife
A rustic camp knife with a heavy recurved cutting edge for heavy use in the woods, also very useful while sitting on the couch while imagining said activity.
The blade was forged to shape, with the ground areas hand-finished. The handle is wenge, sculpted then weathered and attached with African blackwood pins and lanyard tube.
The sheath was a particular bit of fun. After my wife had surgery a few weeks ago, I was inspired by her (much nicer looking) stitches to do something a tad gruesome with the tooling and stitching.
Blade is just over 9" with an overall of 14.75".
