L.S. Mighty-Mini Cleaver

I wanted to just call this a mini-cleaver, but when you have it in your hand, the word "mini" won't seem right.  Yes it's shorter than the typical big cleaver, but this is a very stout knife...more like a short-handled axe than a knife.  But like Amway soap and little people, it's more concentrated than small.  

The handle is white oak from an the timber of the first Catholic Church in Goodson, Virginia (now Bristol, VA).  It is pinless, finished with oil and wax.

The sheath is a deep half-pouch with a retaining strap and a mottled finish.

Blade is 6.25" long, 2.5" wide and 11.5" overall.
