Maple Camp

In celebration of Fall, my favorite season of the year, I present this big camp knife.

The blade is forged from 80CRV2, with the profile, bevels and fuller forged in with only minimal grinding to bring it to completion. The ground areas are hand-finished while the forged areas are left untouched save by the hammer.

The handle is a beautiful piece of spalted maple, stabilized, lined with black G-10 spacers and secured with African blackwood pins and lanyard tube.

The deep pouch sheath is finished in an Autumn leaf pattern. (Word of advice: Don't leave this on the forest floor this time of year...you'll never find it.)
