Short Jungle Sword

$ 2,200.00

So it might be just a great, big knife, but I think Jungle Sword feels closer to the truth.

The blade is forged to shape from 80CRV2. The blade bevels are forged very thin and the almost hollow ground geometry can be felt even if pretty hard to photograph. The cutting edge is convex and hand finished. The deep fuller and the long clip reduces weight out front, maintaining a light and fast feel.

The hidden tang blade is mounted to the curly maple handle in a frame configuration, giving the guardless knife an exceptionally light feel while keeping all exposed steel out of the handle. The handle is abnormally long - basically a hand-and-a-half sword length. I’ve found this very useful on my personal woods blades. A grip close to the blade gives better control and a grip to the rear gives extra reach and power.

The sheath is finished with my autumn leaf pattern (maple of course), and is a high-ride style with a “V” notch belt loop.

Blade length: 12”, Overall 19.25”
