Thrust Fighter
I set out to make a long slender fighter with a bit of panache, and in the hand it just begs to reach out and stab something (not someone...play nice people).
The blade is my Laminated steel (80CRV2 and 410 stainless), and although the blade profile is long and straight, the wave from the exposed core is there to balance it out. The thorned guard is color case hardened steel, sculpted to fit a polished desert ironwood handle. The exact inverse of the blade, the handle has nothing but curves while the grain is nearly straight. A single nickel silver spacer and domed pin finish off the handle.
The tooled leather sheath is a high-ride, right handed model.
Blade length: nearly 9". Overall 14.5"
