Universal Utility

The idea of a one knife that does anything is usually just a pointless pursuit, but sometimes it's worth trying to tick as many boxes as possible. It's a small camp knife, a full-tang fighter, and maybe the best bug-out-bag knife.

This piece is forged 80CRV2, with a full, tapered tang. The blade bevels are deeply hollow ground, with a prominent secondary bevel. This is a type of blade grind I've used over the years that comes from a design seen on cavalry sabres. The advantage is a cutting edge that has strength and durability, but as the blade cuts, the material quickly encounters the void of the hollow grind, reducing friction and weight. Even the false edge is hollow ground. The ground areas are brightly satin finished with natural forge texture at the spine.

The handle is the best no-nonsense material ever: black canvas micarta, sculpted and hand-finished to a smooth satin. Even the pins are black micarta.

The deep pouch sheath has a drippy, stained-on-purpose finish with a right handed belt loop.

Blade length: 6.625", Overall 11.75"
