Forged Integral Camp
$ 2,200.00
In a further attempt to forge a piece to shape with minimal or selective grinding, this piece was a lot of fun to work through.
This knife started out as a 1” round bar of 52100, and forged very close to shape. The blade bevels and clip are ground and finished while most of the blade surface, even the flats of the integral bolsters, are left just as they came off the anvil.
The handle is Wenge, sculpted to index with a secure grip and given just enough texture to expose the grain patterns. The scales are fitted to the integral bolsters and secured with composite pins and lanyard hole.
The Dragonskin sheath is a high-ride, deep pouch with a right hand V-notch loop.
Blade length (from the forward point of the integral bolsters): 8.5”, Blade width (at widest point): 2.75”, Overall length: just over 14”
