F&S Hunter - Damascus
$ 1,600.00
This is the model I made for Field & Stream Magazine, April/May 2018 issue, and featured on the cover of the Field & Stream Total Knife Manual. The 4-1/8 " blade is long enough to handle skinning and cleaning of game, with a point fine enough for detail work. The tang is also fully tapered for better balance.
The blade is forged from crisp Ladder pattern damascus (80CRV2 and 15N20). The blade bevels are hollow ground for a very thin cutting edge.
The handle is snakewood, one of the rarest woods in the world, with this piece being a particularly beautiful example. It is attached with black micarta pins and carbon fiber lanyard tube. Hand-fitted and moulded leather pouch sheath is right handed, and finished in my Autumn leaf pattern.
Blade Length: 4-1/8", Overall Length: 8-3/4"
