Like the mythical beast of the ancient world, there is nothing delicate about this monster. It’s not light, it’s not fast. It’s brutal and heavy, as subtle as a sledge hammer. But it’s terrifying as a chopper. Stand back and swing.
Forged from 80CRV2, it was forged to shape (including a forged fuller). I decided to grind the fuller to further reduce weight, and the entire blade is finished a deep, shimmery blue.
The handle scales are black canvas micarta, attached with matching pins and a carbon fiber lanyard tube.
The deep pouch sheath is a beast in itself, requiring the hides of two steers and a lemming (don’t ask). It has a cross draw belt loop for right handed draw.
