Laminated Camp

$ 2,000.00

Trying to make a light-weight camp knife can be an exercise in trade-offs. Heavy knives have more oomph (technical term), so making one light can end up being counter-productive. But although this blade has lost a ton of weight due to the deep-fullered grind, the hidden tang reduces handle weight as well, putting the blade balance back where it needs to be.

The laminated blade (80CRV2 core with 410 stainless sides) has the deep hollow grinds and the thicker secondary bevel satin polished with the natural forge texture at the spine. The beautiful Australian ringed gidgee frame handle is sculpted for a comfortable grip and finished with a satin oil finish.

The deep pouch sheath is Dragonskin leather with a high-contrast finish.

Blade length: 9", Overall length: 14.5"
