Laminated Mid-Camp
$ 1,800.00
Sometimes as a happy accident, things come together. Craftsmen and artists like to take credit for these accidents as it makes us look smarter than we probably are. But this knife has such a cool interplay between the curly maple and the pattern of the laminated core that it surely looks intentional.
And it is. I meant to do that.
The hidden-tang blade is my Laminated steel (80CRV2 with 410 stainless), Deep-fuller ground with a stout secondary edge. The grinds are satin polished with natural forge texture at the spine, giving the finished piece a lot of variations in sheen, color, and texture.
The toasted curly maple frame handle is secured with three black composite pins and lanyard tube, sculpted for a comfy grip and finished with an oil finish.
The deep pouch sheath is vertical carry, right handed.
Blade length: 6.5", Overall length: 11.9"
