The spiderweb mosaic Damascus is 80CRV2 and 15N20. Rather than preserve the intricate geometry of the Damascus by grinding the blade to shape, this blade was forged to shape, so you can see the pattern distort toward the point, and widen out toward the edge. So while great care was taken to make the pattern as uniform as possible during the folding process, all that is abandoned as the blade is forged to shape, letting distortion have its way and leave its mark.
The Thorned guard is forged from silicon bronze with a simple filed groove and what you might call a "level one" patina - just enough to give it some life without being heavy handed. The African Blackwood handle is museum fit to the guard, crisply sculpted, and secured with a matching bronze pin.
The sheath, what I hope is elegant in its simplicity, jet black over chestnut leather, with the leather's natural color exposed by careful cuts and edge finishing.
