With a classic, Persian-style upswept blade, this frame handle fighter is light, fast, and looks as good sitting still as in motion.
The Laminated blade (80CRV2 with 410 stainless jacket) has my Deep-fullered grind, reducing weight and exposing the laminated steel core and transition zones in all their subtlety. The secondary grind gives the blade a strong cutting edge, and the result is a mix of hollow and convex, polished and rough, black and silver.
The stabilized cherry burl (cut from a downed cherry tree I came across on a hike years ago here in Virginia) is fitted frame-handle-style, secured with three composite black pins and oil finished.
The deep pouch sheath is crisply moulded and made for right handed carry.
